Website Updates and General "Stuff"

Updated: Nov 22, 2020

Hey everyone. As we head into the Holidays, we wanted to let you know that we will be making some much-needed changes to the website over time as well as a few updates!!!!

First, as some of you may know, Mr. Russ, our B.J.J. Guest Instructor recently underwent surgery. The good news is it was successful and he is on the mend and will be returning beginning next year!!!!

Second, Master "D" and Mrs. Maria have dropped in and are doing great.

Mrs. Jen and Mr. Rich will be testing before Master "D" in the next week or two so wish them luck!!!!!!!

As for the website, the idea is to make the website more streamlined and accessible for Students and Guests alike.

Some Highlights will include:

  • A Student of the Month Spotlight as well as Instructor Spotlight Section

  • More Training Guides in our Student Portal as well as a NEW Sword Training Guide Section

  • More Videos uploaded to the Student Portal through our Private YouTube page *Yes, we have one and we will be working on that as well over time LOL*

  • Updated Information on Upcoming Events

  • Revamping the "Our Programs" section to make it more integrated

We are also looking forward to 2021!!!! As everyone knows, 2020 was a very stressful year, with Covid-19 affecting everyone negatively. Because of closures and setbacks, we had to make a choice of either switching to a more manageable location or closing our doors permanently.

Closing was never an option as we will never intentionally give up. Our choice was clear. Move to a smaller, more manageable location and start from scratch.

Thankfully, we have the best Students and Families in the world that have stuck with us, whether through Virtual Training or returning for Live, In-Person Training. It was their continued support that allowed us to keep our doors open and start the process of healing and rebuilding. Since re-opening, we have seen students slowly return that had been away for years as well as have NEW students recently join our school.

Here is to a wonderful upcoming Holiday Season and again, Thank You to all of our Wonderful Indian Rocks Students and Families.
